Since October 2013 pupils at Linden Bridge school have been taking part in multi-sports activities with pupils from Epsom and Ewell school. The club has offered a range of different sports each week with the more able students from Epsom and Ewell helping those from Linden Bridge to take part in the sessions.
The activities have been really well received and, as a thank you, staff and pupils from Linden Bridge put on a bowling and BBQ evening for everyone involved. This has been a great project, one of the best we have been involved with, and will continue to run in the next school year after the October half term, with new pupils from each school. This is part of our OnSide project, offering inclusive sporting opportunities for young people in East Surrey.
