A big thank you to Nutley Kitchen Gardens for donating equipment for our ‘Don’t Lose the Plot’ gardening project for young people with disabilities.
The project teaches young people where food comes from and gives them the tools to grow the food themselves and gives them the physical benefits that are involved with gardening. Sessions are open to new people to come along and benefit first hand from learning practical new skills which will be invaluable in the future.
Don’t Lose the Plot has been on hold over winter but will be re-launcing in early April. If you are interested in horticulture and would like to volunteer, or if you are a young person with a disability that wants to get physically active, please get in touch.
